Tanzania Classic Safaris

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport/ Arusha airport.
Pickup from Kilimanjaro Air Port by our profession Safari driver Guide and transfer to Arusha for overnight  on Bed and Breakfast basis at the lodge/hotel

Day 2: Arusha /Tarangire National Park.
At 8 am with picnic lunches depart for Tarangire National Park, enjoy game drive. This park dominated by the silhouettes of Great Baobab trees this beautiful park is untouched haven for wildlife. (approx. 200 miles) and herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. It's the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park-Lake Manyara National Park.
After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara. Lunch and afternoon game drive in this superb scenic park set around Lake Manyara, most famous for the tree climbing lions. Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher's paradise. Marvel at the variety of species, spoonbill, teal, pelican, kingfisher, hornbill and cormorant. In the tall trees, forest monkeys leap from branch to branch on the slope of the Great Rift escarpment, elephants stand in the shade of the baobab; and in the acacia woodland, lions lie draped along the branches of the umbrella trees.

Day 4: Lake Manyara - Lake Eyasi
After breakfast drive to Lake Eyasi for lunch and after lunch you have local guide to visit Datoga tribe who consider themselves as the oldest tribe in Tanzania (the Maasai and Bushmen also claim this fame). The Datoga are first and foremost warrior’s, known for their stealth ability to eliminate their enemy. Return to the lodge where you have beautifully sun set.

Day 5: Lake Eyasi - Serengeti National Park
Have an early morning drive to Hadzabe village with your local guide for another visit for the day. The Hadzabe is the last tribe of hunter-gatherers left in Tanzania that still live traditionally in small, relatively isolated family units, return to your lodge for breakfast and after breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park via Masai village, experience A Day in the Life of a Maasai village, where you'll meet with the Maasai and witness some of their long-standing traditions such as building a mud hut and intricate beadwork, after Masai Village we continue to your Lodge.

Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Wake up in middle of Serengeti Plains and enjoy the magnificent sunrise. You will spend a full day of game drives in the center part of the Serengeti.Enjoy the amazing experience as you travel through the most famous game park in Africa. Across these Great Plains in the first Month of the year, witness the annual migration as hundreds of thousands of animals migrate. This also coincides with calving season up to 800,000 wildebeest and zebras. Rest assured that you will have ample wildlife viewing opportunities throughout the year.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
After breakfast enjoy a game drive en-route towards Ngorongoro Crater. This is one of the largest intact Volcanic Crater in the world. Enjoy the viewing to a permanent population of more than 30,000 animals. This in one of only places in Africa where you stand a very good chance of seeing the Big five all within close proximity, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Ngorongoro Highlands.
Descend back in time as you make your way down into the ngorongoro crater flow, Ngorongoro Crater is one of the Wonders of the Natural World. An extinct volcano that collapsed around 2.5 million years ago, thus forming a vast ‘super bowl’ where the largest permanent – resident concentration of Africa game is on display. Enjoy the home of the magnificent wildlife population within the crater as you descend into this paradise of ecosystems including woodland, lake, river, swamp, forest and plains. Largest grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, Zebra and antelopes cover the grasslands. The herds attract predators includes the black manned Lion, leopard, cheetah and hyenas. The Fever trees forest is home to monkey, bushbuck, waterbuck, as well as few Black Rhino which have taken refuge here. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro Crater is referred to as the Garden of Eden.

Day 9: Ngorongoro /Kilimanjaro International airport.
After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch and transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight out or you may combine this trip with our Zanzibar holidays.
